About ASA-Phila
WHO WE ARE
We the Anambra State indigenes residing in the city of Philadelphia and its environs hereby resolve to form a non-profit charitable organization to be officially known as ANAMBRA STATE ASSOCIATION PHILADELPHIA REGION, PA (ASA-PHILA).
The organization shall also be referred to severally in this document as ASA-Phila, ASA and the Association. The mission of the organization shall include, but not limited to;
1.A non-profit, charitable Association dedicated to promoting a strong cohesive Anambra community here in Philadelphia and its surroundings.
2.To provide social network systems that encourages interactions, mutual support, cooperation and economic human development between other Nigerians, here in the United States and Diaspora.
3.To create cultural awareness among our children by exposing them to and involving them in different Igbo cultural events.
4.To promote educational, cultural and social interactions between Americans and Nigerians, with a view to promoting cultural understanding and friendship between the two groups.
5.To generate financial resources through fundraising and charitable donations in order to carry out the goals and objectives of the Association.
